The lightGIANTS studio is defiantly becoming my second home. The next lighting set up was a bit of fun.We had been throwing LP’s across the studio and photographing DJ Overflow in mid air as he attempted to catch our rather pathetic lobs.
After several attempts I had a few shots I was happy with and wanted to try something else. Tom came up with the idea of placing the LP we had been throwing in the centre of a beauty dish to create a ring light look. I think it crated a great catch light in the glasses

Here in the making of you can see Tom shooting with the beauty dish right next to his head, and the doughnut shaped catch light in DJ Overflows glasses. Off to the right is a white umbrella soft box that was quickly set up for a bit of fill light.
